Delta V Ensemble is a string quartet with a composer at its core, not just an addition to the group, but a founding member. That's what sets it apart from a traditional quartet.

The goal is straightforward: to translate classical music into a language with which the audience is already familiar. The aim is not to explain or make it more accessible, but to close the distance between the music and the person listening.

Alona Khlevna

Violist

Alona started Delta V Ensemble because she wanted to bring classical music closer to people who think it is not for them.

She believes classical music has more urgency, more groove, and more rawness than concert halls usually allow.
